Dog Adoption Program

Lucky Ones, Inc. rescues "at risk" dogs from the Southern Maryland Tri-County Animal Shelter (TCAS) located in Hughesville, MD. TCAS serves Charles, St. Mary's, and Calvert Counties. Dogs "at risk" are those that, for whatever reason (age, size, behavior, breed), have not been successfully adopted out of the shelter and are facing euthanasia to make room for more dogs. Our goal is to save these dogs from certain death and give them a chance to spend the rest of their lives with loving adopters.  Lucky Ones DOES NOT accept surrendered/stray dogs from private individuals or other rescue groups/shelters.  Our resources are limited to the donations and volunteers to foster our dogs.

Regretably, Lucky Ones, Inc. no longer runs its not-for-profit veterinary clinic.  We appreciate all of our past clients allowing us to help them provide happy and healthy care to their forever friends.
